This video is an experiment in telling time by using toilet paper. In this video, Cynthia tries to make a toilet paper timer by marking the roll with the rhythm of the clock. The element of time exists within the toilet roll, whether it's the pace of toilet paper running out or the frequency of buying them. Time as an idea can vary in duration for different people and different occasions. Though the movement and marking of the toilet paper is mechanically uniform we are invited to watch the roll as you would watch a clock while also looking for the imperfections of folds, motions, marks and pace created from the experiment.
